Craufurd Hale looks to the future with new office move

Chartered accountants and tax advisers, the Craufurd Hale Group is looking to the future after moving into the heart of Maidenhead.

Under the leadership of partners Sean Egan and Daniel Cole, the firm outgrew its previous home in Belmont Road, where it was based for the last 12 years. It has now relocated to offices in Arena Court, Crown Lane, near the bustling ‘waterways quarter’ of the town centre.

Established in 1949, Craufurd Hale offers a range of accountancy and specialist tax services. It has seen major growth in recent years and now comprises Craufurd Hale LLP, Craufurd Hale Audit Services Ltd, Craufurd Hale Wealth Management Ltd, and the newest addition: Craufurd Hale US Tax Services.

Sean explained: “The move is all about giving us room for growth and has also allowed us to consolidate our four businesses.

“We had reached absolute capacity in our old offices. Here we have designed everything to suit our exact needs. We sat down with interior designers to configure the office for the 21st century.”

As well as plenty of room for a growing workforce – the group is already looking for four new members of staff - the new offices feature fully integrated IT systems, client conference rooms, and a new boardroom.

Craufurd Hale has now digitised all of its records, drastically reducing the use of paper and the need for storage space and taking the group a long way down the road to becoming completely paperless.

The new offices also offer plenty of client parking, while the town centre location and secure bicycle storage mean more staff can walk or cycle to work.

Sean added: “It’s great to be at this end of the town. There’s a real buzz in the area and the staff are thrilled to be here too. We’re delighted with the location and accessibility.

“The move has re-energised us all. It’s been a lot of hard work and upheaval and now we want to get back to work and get on with growing the business.”
